The little con that could.
We came together as strangers from the internet, united by our proclivities for underground wargames. We assembled in the back room of a library in Canberra. We slipped in through a backdoor before opening and built a ramshackle oasis of bits and boards.
We played the day away with dice and stories and sifting through buckets of plastic. And the day blurred into a weekend. More official conventions and conversations and sourcing bits for more conversions.
We came together as strangers and left with hearts and pockets full, of love and lead, respectively.
@hollowbodies__13 hit me up to design some stickers for CAN'TCON. I got carried away and illustrated one for each of the major games plus a logo and an indulgent 28 community one. We surprised everyone with them on the day and I'm hype to see them stuck to things far and wide. Beautiful holo and crisp custom cuts printed by @brightstarprints
