Had an absolutely phenomenal day playing Turnip 28 at the Murnong 28 tournament at Shirecon. Thank you so much to @frogfactorypics for organising an incredible event and day. I'm riding high from the opportunity to meet up with people from our sick aussie discord of freak gamers. Everyone new I meet I consider an immediate friend.
Highlight was maybe two guys coming into our back room from the main hall, surveying @lucca_buonamano 's stilted loppers and all the assorted turnip armies and one saying to the other "You weren't kidding when you said there was some weird shit happening back here."
What a fabulous group of people to play Turnip with at Murnong 28. Every new face and renewed connection was greeted like old friends with bottomless warmth and openness. This crew is still new but I don't think it'll ever get old being a part of it.
I'm still thinking about how vibrant but still grimy and thematic this army was. Well deserving of best army and with all custom draw banners!
